Release Date for the PC version of Harvest Moon: Light of Hope and a Drawing Contest announced

Natsume has announced the PC version of Harvest Moon: Light of Hope will launch for PC (Steam) on November 14. The Playstation 4 and Switch version will launch early 2018.

Here is a quick overview of the title and the contest below.

In Harvest Moon: Light of Hope, players begin the game as they set out looking for a fresh start and new surroundings. During their voyage, their ship is hit by a monsoon and goes down. As they drift into a small harbor town, now in a shambles from the storm, it will be up to the player to help rebuild the town and save the lighthouse…but it won’t be easy! Nevertheless, with some hard work growing crops, tending livestock, and gathering materials for repairs, players will be able to make new friends, start a family, revive the lighthouse, and save the town!

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope includes new features such as repairing, which enables the player to repair destroyed homes and unlock new shops, characters, farming tools, and farming land. The Farming Friend is another new addition, which helps players grow abundant crops. The game also introduces a retro plus feel, with classic SNES inspired graphics alongside some modern features in honor of the 20th anniversary. And in addition to these new features will be some familiar faces from previous Harvest Moon titles.

In celebration of Harvest Moon’s 20th anniversary, Natsume is holding a Drawing Contest on Facebook. Fans are encouraged to draw and submit their favorite Harvest Moon characters and animals before the year’s end. Fifteen winners will receive special Natsume goodies as prizes. About

Get back to nature in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, the new Animal Crossing mobile game where you take on the role of campsite manager!

You’re in charge, so you can decorate your own campsite however you like! Make it fun, make it cute, make it sporty—it’s up to you to craft the kind of furniture and amenities that will make your camp a must-see for animals visiting the area.

Building Your Dream Campsite

  • Help Animals As You Explore!
    • While visiting different recreational spots, you’ll meet new animals who could use a little help. They’ll be looking for fish, fruit, bugs, and other things to get their camping adventures started—and when you help them out, you’ll earn Bells and craft materials in return!
  • Craft Furniture and Amenities
    • The craft materials you earn by fulfilling animals’ requests can be used to craft all sorts of furniture and amenities for your campsite.
    • Just open up the Craft menu and place an order with Cyrus, the hardworking handyman from Re-Tail on the Road. Then sit back and wait! Or, if you’re in a hurry, you can move your order to the very front of the line by using Leaf Tickets. You can purchase Leaf Tickets with real money, or earn them through regular gameplay.
  • Your Campsite. Your Way.
    • The joy of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is creating a space that suits you and your style.
    • Your campsite can be anything you like—from a traditional space that celebrates nature to a flashy fun house with concerts and rides. It’s all up to you!
    • You can also customize your camper, visit your friends’ campsites to get ideas for your own, and meet new animal friends as you explore recreational areas!
  • Host Animals at Your Campsite
    • As you grow your friendships with different animals, they’ll want to visit your campsite. Craft and decorate with their favorite items, and you’ll be able to host them whenever you like—even if you change up your decorations completely!

Here is some more detailed information, via a Nintendo press release:

  • Manage Your Manager: When you start a new game in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, you will be asked to create your personalized campsite manager avatar – your character in the game. You can choose to be a girl or a boy, and customize things like skin color, hair color and eye color. Whatever suits you!
  • Arts & Crafts: By gathering resources like fruit and wood, you can craft items for your campsite. These include furniture and decorative items, like couches and benches, as well as baskets and plants. To craft items, just speak to classic Animal Crossing villager Cyrus to put in an order. After the item is finished, you can place it around your campsite or decorate the interior of your camper.
  • Leaf Tickets: Leaf Tickets can be earned through regular gameplay or purchased using real-world money, and can be used in a variety of ways in the game. For example, they can be used to shorten the time needed to craft items, more easily acquire materials or acquire unique camper exterior designs.
  • Friendship Level: In Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, you can chat with your animal friends or fulfill their requests to raise your friendship level. If you level up your friendship or decorate your campsite with an animal’s favorite items, she or he might pay you a visit.
  • BHFF (Best Human Friends Forever): Not all of your friends in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will have fur or feathers. You can send your in-game Player ID to real-life friends who also own the game to have them visit your campsite. Random player avatars will also visit the campsite from time to time. Once someone visits, you can exchange your Bells for items saved in the Market Box.
  • Tick Tock: Similar to past Animal Crossing games, time passes in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp just like in real life! As morning, day, evening and night pass, the scenery in the game will change and different animal friends might show up.
  • Area MapAnimal Crossing: Pocket Camp is full of places to visit and explore. In addition to your campsite, you can travel in your camper to a beach, a forest, a river and an island.
  • Market Place: The go-to spot for shopaholics, Market Place is full of stores run by familiar Animal Crossing characters like Timmy, Tommy and the Able Sisters. The various shops in Market Place offer things like furniture and clothing items. The selection at each shop rotates, so don’t be a stranger!
  • OK Motors: Remember that camper that was mentioned a few bullets back? It’s not used to just travel between locations in the game. By visiting the OK Motors store, you can acquire things to customize your camper, including furniture to fill the interior and paint to decorate the exterior. It’s like those tiny homes that are all the rage … but with wheels!
  • Expanding Camp Life: In addition to all the fun things you can do in the game, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will eventually offer seasonal events to keep the experience fresh and surprising, as well as limited-time furniture and outfit options through game updates. These events and updates will begin rolling out after launch.

Fights are all about strategy. And fights in Dragon Ball FighterZ are becoming more and more strategical with the arrival of the two new heavyweight fighters, Nappa and Captain Ginyu. Captain Ginyu is quite powerful as players can exchange him with their opponent character until the end of the fight. Nappa is a heavy type character using the Saibamen to attack the enemy. Using the Saibamen in a good way could help a lot to gain time to charge energy or prepare a combo.

Story Mode will also surprise and delight all the fans with the LINK System allowing them to embody different characters, share their minds and even discuss with them while they live in the same body! Surprises are not finished yet. Composed of 3 different parts, the story mode will allow players to experience 3 different perspectives each offering different details and secrets about the whole story. Players will first play the Super Warriors Arc in the perspective of the Saiyans, then the Super Villain Arc in the perspective of the enemies and finally the Android Arc in the perspective of the Androids. By taking part in different fighting combinations included in these 3 chapters, players will be able to level up their characters and get a full understanding of the amazing Dragon Ball FighterZ scenario! The story mode map will also surprise everyone by becoming a new place for a tactical move as players will have different options for their next destination. This strategical choice will have an impact on fighting abilities in future fights!

Last but not least, more details about the online mode are also revealed! The online mode with interconnected match-making will be the perfect place to test players’ skills. In the Circle Match mode, up to 8 players can enter into the room to fight against each other where up to 4 fights can happen at the same time. NCG Review – Mushroom Wars 2 (PC)

Mushroom Wars 2 is one of the cutest, yet most intense RTS I have played in a long time; actually, since the first title. The first Mushroom Wars title was released on the Playstation 3 back in 2009 and later was on other platforms such as Mobile and PC years later. The newest entry in series still holds up to original with its new mechanics.

Story

When jumping into MW2’s story mode, you are thrown into a story with no words, narrator, or any sense of guidance which is great because instead the story presents itself with images that the player has to interpret themselves. The story is not meant to be central to the game, but it is their to give players an idea of the reason your little mushroom people are at war.moustache_of_doom_by_nicheltoten-dangv63.png

Visuals

Taking a lot of  influence from the cutesy look from the first title, Mushroom Wars 2 adds a little more depth by revamping the visuals to looks as though the mushroom people grew up to battle. The new art style is all digitally drawn adding a stylized aspect to character portraits, maps, building and attacking units; this title will have players loving all aspects of the style, as well as feeling more attached to the team they build.pu58a2fc6ed39fd083f55d4182bf88826d-1504641192-363942-screenshot-original.png

Gameplay

If you have not played the first Mushroom Wars title, I highly recommend checking it out, as it will prepare you for the addicting game play that Mushroom Wars 2 builds off of. That being said, Mushroom Wars 2 is a straight forward RTS (real-time strategy), which is simple to control but yet technical with strategy.pu58a2fc6ed39fd083f55d4182bf88826d-1504641210-6666592-screenshot-original.png

The premise of the game is to conquer the map. Players are given a starter building to generate units.  Once you have generated enough units, you can conquer other buildings to create more units.  When you have enough units in a building you can upgrade that building so you can generate units faster, and eventually take over the map.

When in game play, players will have two main hubs. One hub to choose how many units to send out by percentage of the total units in the building, and a hub to upgrade/switch your building. This is where all the strategic planning begins to take play. Players will be able to decide to upgrade the building to build units faster, or to build a cannon tower which will defend an area but sacrifices building units. And then there is the defense building, which will make your units and building have more resistance to attacks and do more damage.

You have to plan your buildings wisely because your enemy will be attacking and planning at the same time.

One of the newest addition to Mushroom Wars is the abilities. Depending on the characters or team the player decides to select, a few curtain skills will be attached to them. This will give players different advantages to take over the map.  This is an excellent new feature because of how balanced it is.

The game play is fun, addicting, and players will find themselves losing hours of time in the main story mode, which feels like a tutorial and doesn’t ever get annoying while making your way through. On top of that, the online mode runs smooth and will have players trying to rank up in the online community.

Verdict

Mushroom Wars 2 feels like an upgrade to the previous title with it’s great style, addicting RTS game play, and new game play elements.  I can say this title is a must buy for the price ($9.99) for anyone and everyone. The simple but yet well thought out game play will have any gamer enjoying the battles. Be sure to be on the look out for a release on PS4, Xbox One some time i the future. My verdict of this title is a 9/10.
