Okami HD is heading to PS4, Xbox One,and PC this December

Capcom has announced that Okami HD will be heading to Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC on December 12, 2017. Okami HD will be compatible with Xbox One X and PS4 Pro while featuring stunning 4K graphics on Xbox One X, PS4 Pro and supported PC hardware.

 

 

Players will be able to choose between playing in a modern widescreen format or the original 2007 release’s 4:3 ratio. Interactive loading game screens from the original game are also included, allowing players to earn bonus demon fangs which can be traded for in-game items.

Okami_HD_LogoIn Okami HD players take on the role of Amaterasu, the Japanese sun goddess who inhabits the form of a legendary white wolf Shiranui on a quest to defeat Orochi, an eight-headed demon and tyrannical monster responsible for turning the world into a ruined wasteland. Players must use Amaterasu’s magical abilities and arsenal of items, attacks and Celestial Brush techniques to restore the land of Nippon to its previous glory full of life and color. Along the way, Amaterasu will be called upon to help a cast of quirky and intriguing characters and defeat a bevy of brutal enemies to rid the land of Orochi’s curse.

New characters annouced for Injustice 2 ‘Fighter Pack 2’

Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios have announced the “Fighter Pack 2” downloadable content for Injustice 2, which includes new playable characters Black Manta, Raiden from Mortal Kombat, and the half-demon Hellboy.

Fighter Pack #2 will be available for purchase beginning September 12, 2017, and the first character will be available for early access the same day. Players who have purchased the Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition, the Injustice 2 Ultimate Pack, or the Injustice 2 Fighter Pack #2 will have early access to each of the three new fighters from the DC, Dark Horse and Mortal Kombat universes before they are available.

New info, and screenshots on Metal Gear Survive has arrived

Konami has released some new info and screenshots of the upcoming Metal Gear Survive during Gamescom 2017.

Metal Gear Survive is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in early 2018.

Metal Gear Survive is a survival action game in an alternative universe. In a struggle to survive, and understand this new environment, players engage in both a Single Play and connected co-op Play. In the battle for survival scavenged materials must be wrought into usable items, gear and weapons if you are to have any hope of making it home.

Key Features

  • Two ways to play – Single Play and CO-OP Play. These modes are linked via Base Camp. Character progress and gear carries between the two modes.
  • Build and develop your Base Camp. This offers access to weapon and gear crafting. As well as offering you a command centre for planning missions in Single Play and CO-OP Play.
  • Gather resources for use in crafting including blue prints and raw materials. These can be gathered in Single play by exploring the environment or won in successful CO-OP missions
  • Develop Base camp with new facilities to aid survival – including crop growing, animal rearing, food and water storage. As your camp develops you’ll gain access to high grade crafting items.
  • Manage resources, including human essentials such as food and water as well as raw materials used for weapons, defences and expendables.

Dragon Ball FighterZ release date, new Trailer and Screenshots

During Gamescom 2017, Bandai Namco has announced that Dragon Ball FighterZ will launch February 2018 worldwide for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

In Europe, a Dragon Ball FighterZ “CollectorZ Edition” will also be available. It will includ the following:

  • Dragon Ball FighterZ game software
  • Goku 18cm diorama with an exclusive “Manga Dimension” coloring
  • Three arts boards

Pre-orders will include early access to the open beta, an early unlock of Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta, and two exclusive lobby avatars.

No “News” on the other regions pre-order bonuses has been announced as of yet.

A new trailer and set of screenshots feature recently confirmed playable fighters Super Saiyan Blue Goku, Super Saiyain Blue Vegeta, Android 16, Android 18, Krillin, and Piccolo, as well as a glimpse at story mode. Bandai Namco teases, “With the resurrection of Android 16 and the invasion of the mysterious army corps, the super warriors starts to fall. What is happening?” “Party Match” is also revealed, which is an online battle mode where six players are each in charge of one character during a three-versus-three battle.

Marvel VS Capcom: Infinite, New Story Trailer, Modes, and Characters

Capcom has released a new story trailer, and more details for the upcoming, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite title.

The trailer highlights some new characters and never-before-seen elements to the story.
Additional information and gameplay of recently confirmed playable characters Jedah, Dormammu, Firebrand, and Ghost Rider will be available next week at Gamescom 2017. They bring the final roster at launch up to 30 characters

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 19

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will provide memorable experiences and infinite gameplay possibilities for players of all skill levels. The next evolution of the popular action-fighting series will arrive action-packed at launch, with a variety of accessible single player and multiplayer offerings including:

Offline Modes and Features:

  • Story – puts players at the center of a fierce battle as heroes from both universes come together to stop Ultron Sigma, the combined form of two robotic villains.
  • Arcade – recreates the classic arcade experience. Keep winning to move forward and confront the final boss in an epic showdown of skills.
  • Mission – players can do various tutorial missions, or try their hand at advanced character-specific challenges.
  • Training – set up a training area with various parameters and hone skills to improve fighting abilities.
  • Vs. Player 2 – go head-to-head against another player locally.
  • Vs. CPU – play solo against an AI-controlled opponent.
  • Collection – the Dr. Light Database contains numerous unlockable items, including cut scenes from the story mode, character/stage information, concept artwork and character/stage audio tracks.

Online Modes and Features:

  • Ranked Match – battle other players online to advance in the rankings.
  • Casual Match – battle other players online without the results affecting the rankings.
  • Beginners League – a special league fought between players of Rank 14 or lower.
  • Lobby – search for or create a lobby where up to 8 players can engage in simultaneous player-vs-player matches.
  • Rankings – view the rankings of players from all over the world.
  • Replay Settings – configure replay settings and view replays.

All of the action in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite takes place in new but familiar settings, as famous locations from the Marvel and Capcom universes fuse together as part of Ultron Sigma’s nefarious plot. Imagined and created through a shared vision between the two companies, the game will feature free-form 2v2 team battles and the ability to harness the power of one of six game-changing Infinity Stones, further deepening the customized gameplay by allowing players to equip and unleash elemental in-game powers during battle.
