Niantic has released the final designs for the team leaders of Mystic, Valor and Instinct. Blanche, Candela, and Spark…..really? Spark? is it ’cause the team color is yellow and we associate it with Zapdos and electric type? Real original…
I like their designs, they really match with the design that was given to prof-SPARK! WHAT WHERE YOU THIN-…sorry sorry. They do match professor Willows design.
Here are some bullet points of what was discussed at the panel
The legendary birds are tied to teams in some way.
We can’t expect Legendaries until after the game has been released in all regions.
There are Easter Eggs that nobody has found yet.
Pokemon Centers are coming
There will be more functionality added to gyms.
They know about the three step glitch but no word on when it will be fixed.
Niantic says the game is at about 10% of what they want it to be
Only 10%, huh? I can imagine why, what with missing features so far like trading and trainer Pokemon battles. I’m excited for Pokemon Go’s future.
Nintendo has announced that Sun & Moon will have two online competition types (including local tournaments), as well as a “Hyper Training” mechanic, that will allow “level 100 Pokémon to increase their individual strengths for the first time”
The new Pokemons from the trailer are, Wimpod (Bug/Water), Bounsweet (Grass), Comfey (Fairy), Mudsdale (Ground), Mimikyu (Ghost/Fairy) and Bewear (Normal/Fighting).
The arcade edition of Pokken Tournament brings new playable Pokemon: Darkrai, and Wii U exclusive Pokemon Garchomp, Braixen, and Shadow Mewtwo. The update will also bring Wii U exclusive stages, a new Mission play mode that allows you to earn items for clearing missions.
Let’s put down Pokemon Go for just a moment, and take a look at the latest Pokemon from Sun/Moon. First, we have Mimikyuu, a Ghost/Fairy Pokemon that hides behind a disguise… because it wants to be loved. Second, we have Kiteruguma, a strong Bear who loves hugs but is unaware of his own strength.

Gonna catch ’em all! Pokemon Go is now out in Australia, New Zealand, and USA? I have yet to find the app in my Google Play Store (it said it’s not yet available in my country), but as things start to roll out, I suspect we will see it on all devices soon -without compatibility issues. While the official release dates were never officially announced, today’s surprise debut looks like it might be launching with a few hiccups. While I have yet to see the game in my Play Store, Pokemon Go is reported to be up and running on all mobile devices in Australia and New Zealand.
Unfortunately, the reported US release is up for Android users only (if you’re lucky enough to snag it) so those with iOS will have to wait just a bit longer.
Now, I must go refresh the app store until I can go out into the world and catch Pokemon! Are you able to get Pokemon Go on your Android device?
