.hack//G.U. Last Recode is coming to PS4 later this year

Bandia Namco has announced .hack//G.U. Last Recode is coming to PlayStation 4 (physically and digitally) and PC via Steam in North America and Europe in late 2017.

.hack//Last Recode includes remastered and enhanced versions of .hack//G.U. Vol. 1//Rebirth, hack//G.U. Vol. 2//Reminisce, and hack//G.U. Vol. 3//Redemption.

.hack//G.U. Last Recode – the definitive .hack//G.U. experience for existing fans and newbies – collects the three .hack//G.U. action-RPG titles; Rebirth, Reminisce and Redemption with updated 1080p, 16:9 widescreen picture, and 60 fps frame rate, gameplay balance changes and additional features to be announced in the upcoming months.

.hack is a multimedia franchise created and developed by famed Japanese developer CyberConnect2. Comprising of video games, anime, novels, and manga, the world of .hack focuses on the mysterious events surrounding a wildly popular in-universe massively multiplayer role-playing game called The World. .hack//G.U. begins after the events of the original .hack series with players assuming the role of Haseo as he tracks down a powerful Player Killer named Tri-Edge who killed his friend’s in-game avatar Shino, and put her in a coma in real life.

In addition to offering the .hack//G.U. trilogy, .hack//G.U. Last Recode will also include enhanced battle balance and game pacing to provide an optimal experience as well as a new Cheat Mode allowing players who want to just enjoy the story to start the game with full stats.

Dragon Ball FighterZ Reveal trailer, and Beta on the way

DRAGON BALL FighterZ has been revealed during todays Xbox E3 Conference. DRAGON BALL FighterZ will be available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC (via STEAM) in early 2018.

Players who can’t wait to dive into the action in DRAGON BALL FighterZ’s won’t have to wait long as a closed beta for the game will be held on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 before the end of summer. More details pertaining to the closed beta will be shared soon.

Guilty Gear Styled Dragon Ball Game Leaked before E3

Today Bandai Namco has accidentally leaked a new Dragon Ball game titled, Dragon Ball Fighters.

Dragon Ball Fighters was originally set to be announced June 12 (Day 1 of E3), but the news broke out after Bandai Namco accidentally shared this information ahead of its official reveal.

The new title is being developed by Arc System Works, and will be a 2.5D gameplay style, which will resemble Guilty Gear XRD Rev 2’s art style. The game will also use a 3v3 team battle system, allowing players to create their Dragon Ball team of choice and will also incorporate the “ultra high speed battles” and “flashy special moves” that the Dragon Ball series is known for.

As of now this is everything known so far for Dragon Ball Fighters, until the official announcement is made, so lets just hope this title makes an appearance at E3’s show floor as well as EVO 2017.

Tekken 7 will be getting two more guest characters from other games

Bandai Namco has announced that Tekken 7 will be adding two new exclusive guest characters from other video game licenses as paid downloadable content, as well as a small outline of the additions included in the game’s post-release downloadable content schedule:


Batch #1 (Summer 2017)

  • New game mode
  • More than 50 new costumes

Batch #2 (Winter 2017)

  • One exclusive playable guest character from another video game license

Batch #3 (Spring 2018)

  • One exclusive playable guest character from another video game license

Season Pass Bonus

  • 35 exclusive metallic costumes

Tekken 7 will launch on June 2 for, Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Accel World VS Sword Art Online cross-over coming in 2017

Who doesn’t love a good cross-over? Fans of both franchises will be thrilled to know that Bandai Namco Entertainment is bringing over Accel World VS Sword Art Online to the US in Summer of 2017.  So far, there is no official release date, but we do know that the game will be on the PlayStation Vita and the PlayStation 4.

About the game:

The worlds of SWORD ART ONLINE and ACCEL WORLD have begun to merge! In the midst of the chaos, the strongest Burst Linkers from ACCEL WORLD and Alfheim Online Players from SWORD ART ONLINE must come together in a war of the worlds to challenge the Seven Kings of Pure Color and rescue a dear friend from the clutches of Personna Babel. This all-new original story comes from Reki Kawahara, the creator of both SWORD ART ONLINE and ACCEL WORLD, for an interdimensional adventure between two popular anime franchises.

 

Players will build out three-person teams with their favorite characters, all with unique special abilities, from both the SWORD ART ONLINE and ACCEL WORLD series. SWORD ART ONLINE characters will be able to utilize the fairy flight mechanic from ALfheim Online as well as magic, while ACCEL WORLD characters will have access to Acceleration and special techniques. By mixing and matching characters from both worlds, players will be able to create an unstoppable team as they take on an epic action role-playing game adventure. Players will also be able to team up with three other friends to battle rivals in fierce online multiplayer modes.
