Today Nintendo has announced that the New 3DS will have two special edition systems coming out on Black Friday. For the first time ever, Nintendo’s popular hand-held New Nintendo 3DS video game system will be offered at a suggested retail price of $99.99. Two special-edition models – one black, one white, both featuring Mushroom Kingdom characters and imagery – will be available starting Nov. 25. Great news for all of you Pokemon fans out there! As of today, players can pre-load the two new Pokemon titles (Sun and Moon). But be prepared, the game requires 3.2GB to download, so you might need to update your SD card, or make space.

Gamestop Is Now Taking Retro Trade-Ins at All Stores

Gamstop has announced that retro trade-ins of games, systems, and controllers can now be done at all GameStop stores. Additionally, GameStop’s online offerings have expanded to include the Sega Saturn, Game Boy Color and Advance, GameCube, and Xbox.

GameStop previously announced that they wanted to get back into the retro games market back in 2012, and pushed it forward in 2015, offering NES, Genesis, SNES, N64, PS1, and Dreamcast games for purchase online. However, trade-ins for retro games and consoles was previously limited to specific areas. No specific date has been set for when this will take effect, but we believe it will be sometime in the next couple weeks.

What do you think of Gamstop’s decision, and will you be trading-in or picking up Retro titles?

Pokemon Sun& Moon Demo Goodies

The Pokemon Sun and Moon demo has come out and it brings with it some neat surprises. The best of which is that you can get Ash Greninja for the full version if you finish the demo!

Smaller stuff you get is some stardust, a star piece and a nugget, all items you can sell for in game money, neat but not as exiting as the free Pokemon, which to my knowledge is not obtainable in any other way.

Are you going to try the Demo? or are you waiting for the full version? which are you thinking about? I know I want Moon, it just calls to me more than Sun.
