BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle will be the 1st Arc System Works title published in North America

Arc System Works announced last week that they will be establishing a new North America branch, with this Arc System Works has also announced that BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle will be the first title to be published by the new NA branch.

The Japanese announcement of the North American branch also clarifies that Arc System Works America will handle the sales and distribution of products developed by Arc System Works, as well as marketing, promotion, support, licensing, and localization duties.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle will be released on Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC early 2018.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle leaked gameplay and confirmed for PS4

BlazeBlue: Cross Tag Battle gameplay has leaked online, and if you take a close look at the meter on bottom of the screen while its says Resonance Blaze, you will see a R1 icon, which confirms that the title will be making an appearance on Playstation 4.

The video below shows off 2 minutes of one of the newcomers, Ruby Rose from the RWBY series.

BlazeBlue: Cross Battle was originally set to show its first appearance at New York Comic-Con this weekend.

Japan is getting Jubei in BlazBlue: Central Fiction on August 31st

Arc System Works has announced that Jubei will be available for BlazBlue: Central Fiction as DLC on August 31 in Japan, alongside a free patch adding in the recent arcade version battle balances.

The DLC and patch will only be on PS4, and PS3. As for PC players, Arc System Works has said that the downloadable content and free patch will launch for the PC version “in the near future.”

BlazBlue: Central Fiction is currently available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC

Here is a quick overview of Jubei.

Jubei is one of the Six Heroes that saved humanity during the Great Dark War that occurred 100 years ago. He is an important character who has a close connection to the characters of this game. He is the protagonist Ragna’s swordsmanship master and life saver, husband to the Great Mage Nine, and father to Kokonoe. By making Jubei playable this time, you can learn of his various aspects, such as the power true to his name of “the strongest being on the planet,” of his suffering, and of his love for his family.

During EVO 2017 Arc System Works announced Blazblue: Cross Tag Battle.

Cross Tag Battle will feature a dream-team of characters that have never before been gathered in a single 2D fighting game. Featuring Ragna the Bloodedge from BlazBlue, Yu from Persona 4 Ultimate Arena, Hyde from UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH, and Ruby Rose from the 3D animated series RWBY, developed by the visionary creators at Rooster Teeth Productions with more to come!
