Oh… Sir! The Insult Simulator updates

If your mother has never watched Star Wars and elderberries are stupid! then you’ll be pleased to know that you can further roast your friends with even more add on’s to Oh…Sir!! The Insult Simulator.

Coming out July 25 for the PC and mobile games, we get a new protagonist: Postal Dude.

Yes, Vile Monarch has collaborated with the disappointingly polite people at Running With Scissors to bring Postal Dude to the game, armed with nothing more than a barrage of vaguely profane language delivered by the original Postal voice actor Rick Hunter no less.

What has been your best insult from the game so far? Let us know in the comments!

Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom release date pushed back

Initially set to release November 10, 2017, Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom has been pushed back to January, 19, 2018.

“We have decided that more development time is required in order to deliver the full Ni no Kuni II experience to our fans,” said Akihiro Hino, CEO and President of LEVEL-5 Inc. “I deeply apologize to those who have been looking forward to the game’s release. Please rest assured, however, that we will continue to strive to provide a deep and satisfying single player experience that our fans can look forward to enjoying.”

It’s a bummer to see another game delay, however, I would rather see the game fully fleshed out upon release rather than deal with annoying weekly updates.

How do you feel about the delay? Let us know in the comments!

Horror-inspired fighting game will be playable at EVO 2017

Developer AOne Games has announced that they will showcase Omen of Sorrow, an upcoming fighting game inspired by classic horror at EVO 2017 this weekend.

Omen of Sorrow will have a playable demo at booth #110, and will have attendees able to try out the games mechanics and test out the latest combat engine.

Here is a quick overview.

Omen of Sorrow is a classic 2D, four-button fighting game, with Unreal Engine 4 powered graphics, a cast of 12 characters inspired by classical horror, fantasy and mythology, and a battle system designed from the ground up to leverage player skill, rather than stats or random chance, featuring deep combat mechanics that favor movement and spacing over tight execution to provide an engaging experience for pros and newcomers alike!

Using a netcode technique called rollback (GGPO), we’ll provide you with a near-lagless online experience. You’ll also be able to fight your friends in Local Multiplayer; having someone in the same physical space when playing a game is a very different experience than playing with them over the internet, you know that, and so do we.

Features:

  • ☠ Master its hardcore combat mechanics
  • Compete Online
  • ☠ Fight your friends in Local Multiplayer.
  • ☠ Choose among 12 iconic characters from myth and legend.

Omen of Sorrow will release on Playstation 4.

Yamishibai Returns with Another Season

Yamishibai is back for its 5th season!  Fans will be thrilled to find out that the style has gone back to the story telling roots of the first season.  This seasons theme, so far, seems to focus on ghosts.  The intro hints at a “living dead” theme.  Only two episodes have been released.  Keep an eye out on Crunchyroll for updates.

Here’s a quick look of the first two episodes:

1: Wrong Number

Married to a salary man who works all day, Mrs. Masuda remains at home with their son, Hirofumi.  One day, the phone rings. The mysterious caller informs Mrs. Masuda that she’s running late…

2: Give it to me

On her way home, an office worker runs into a little girl.  The girl says she is waiting for her mother, but sees a beautiful butterfly brooch on the office workers shirt.  “Give it to me,” the girl says…

Are you excited for another season of Yamishibai? Which is your favorite story so far? My favorite episode is from Season 1: Hair.  I will never touch a printer at night!
