We had the chance to talk with a few awesome indie game developers at the MIX: Evo’s Indie Game Design Showcase. Hear what they have to say about their games!
Even though we missed talking to a lot of other developers, be sure to check out any flyers/posters you see in the video. The indie showcase this year was pretty awesome! Any games you plan on checking out? Let us know in the comments!
We had another amazing opportunity to speak with some very influential people in fighting game development. This time, we got a chance to speak briefly with SNK’s Yasuyuki Oda (producer) Eisuke Ogura (illustrator/graphic designer) Hayato Watanabe (battle designer), Neo_G (lead game designer) and Keisuke Nishikawa (SNK Marketing/stand-in translator) about King of Fighters XIV. Again, we wish we were prepared with more questions, but it is very clear how thankful they are to see KoF XIV be met with so much success in North America.
Also, be sure to check out the KoF XIV demo out now. The demo will have 7 playable characters: Kyo Kusanagi, Iori Yagami, Mai Shiranui, Shun’Ei, Sylvie Paula, King of Dinosaurs and Nelson.
While the game has only been released in arcades in Japan, the Tekken 7 tournament had an amazing turn out at Evo 2016. We were thrilled to get a chance to speak briefly to Harada-san and Michael Murray about the game. We only wish we were prepared with more questions!
NCG had an awesome time at EVO 2016! One of the biggest years of EVO history, with over 5000 players from around the world signed up for Street Fighter V alone, we were thrilled to be part of the action. Be sure to check out our photos and stay tuned for a video featuring the Harada-San, the developers of King of Fighters XIV, and more!
