During the Nintendo Direct today, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company announced that Pokemon Gold and Silver will be heading to the 3DS Virtual console on September 22 worldwide. As well as announcing that both titles will be compatible with the Pokemon Bank.
During the Nintendo Direct today, Nintendo and the Pokemon Company announced Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon for the 3DS. Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon offer an alternate story taking place in the world of Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon, featuring Pokemon that did not appear in the original versions. New features will allow you to enjoy adventure even more.
Both titles are set to launch November 17 worldwide.

Nintendo has announced that they will host an eight minute Nintendo Direct featuring Pokemon news tomorrow, Jun 6 at 7:00a.m.PT/ 10:00 a.m PT /3:00 p.m U.K time.

Great news for all of you Pokemon fans out there! As of today, players can pre-load the two new Pokemon titles (Sun and Moon). But be prepared, the game requires 3.2GB to download, so you might need to update your SD card, or make space.
Anyone who pre-loads the game will also be granted a bonus 12 quick balls upon release.
Pokémon Sun and Moon will release worldwide on November 18th on the Nintendo 3DS.
