During Anime Expo, Aksys Games announced that they will be bringing Arc System Works and French-Bread’s fighting game, Under Night In-Birth EXE: Laste[st] to North America in late 2017.
The console release of the arcade fighting game adds a variety of new features, including new playable characters Enkidu and Wagner, as well as Tutorial and Mission modes, and character balance adjustments.

Under Night In-Birth: Late[st] Debut Trailer
Arc System Works and French Bread has released the debut trailer for Under Night In-Birth: Late[st].
The console release will be adding some new additions to the game such as,
a variety of new features, including new playable characters Enkidu and Wagner, as well as Tutorial and Mission modes, and character balance adjustments.
Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st] will launch physically and digitally for PlayStation 4, and digitally for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, on July 20 in Japan. No word on an North American release has been announced as of yet.

UMVC3 takes the Final Spot, and will be played on Playstation 4 at EVO 2017
Yesterday, February 8th Joey “Mr. Wizard” Cuellar (EVO’s Coordinator) has announced that Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 won the Players Choice vote, $71,690 for Make-a-Wish International. Just incase you don’t know, the Players Choice game that has earned the most money for Make-a Wish International, was entitling to be in the opening slot at Mandalay Bay’s arena finals on Sunday–as well as a $10,000 pot bonus.

Pokkén Tournament was close to winning and followed right behind UMVC3 with a total of $66,906, and other titles such as Killer Instinct ($6116), Windjammers ($4000), Nidhogg ($158), raised a good amount of donations from many players. This just showed how dedicated the Fighting Game Community are to their titles.

Well with that said, Joey “Mr. Wizard” Cuellar has announced Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom will be played on Playstation 4 this year. This is not a big surprise, since the PS4 port has been well received and confirmed to be used for major tournaments to come.
Square Enix is releasing a new fighting game
Square-Enix has opened a teaser website for the announcement of a new fighting game for Japanese arcades call Million: Artur: Arcana Blood.
The game is due out in Japanese arcades this fall, and will be playable for the first time at Japan Amusement Expo 2017 from February 10 to 12.

EVO 2017 Lineup Announced
Yesterday during the EVO Reveal Show, we found out what games will be appearing in this years EVO 2017 event, which will take place at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas July 14-16.
The eight confirmed games for Evo 2017 are:
- Street Fighter 5
- Tekken 7
- Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2
- Injustice 2
- Super Smash Bros. Melee
- Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
- BlazBlue: Central Fiction
- The King of Fighters 14

On top of that, EVO will be holding a player’s choice vote for the ninth game for the final spot of titles to compete in.
These titles consist of the following:
- Pokkén Tournament
- Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
- Killer Instinct
- Mortal Kombat XL
- Skullgirls 2nd Encore
- Super Street Fighter II Turbo
- Nidhogg
- ARMS
- Windjammers

Players can visit Generosity.com and put money down to get their vote in for what title should be in this years EVO 2017. The winning game will become a main event, as well as be the opening game in the arena “Finals” on Sunday, with a $10,000 prize pool bonus. The voteing process will close in two weeks on Wednesday, February 8th.
