Yesterday, February 8th Joey “Mr. Wizard” Cuellar (EVO’s Coordinator) has announced that Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 won the Players Choice vote, $71,690 for Make-a-Wish International. Just incase you don’t know, the Players Choice game that has earned the most money for Make-a Wish International, was entitling to be in the opening slot at Mandalay Bay’s arena finals on Sunday–as well as a $10,000 pot bonus.
Pokkén Tournament was close to winning and followed right behind UMVC3 with a total of $66,906, and other titles such as Killer Instinct ($6116), Windjammers ($4000), Nidhogg ($158), raised a good amount of donations from many players. This just showed how dedicated the Fighting Game Community are to their titles.
We will be using the PlayStation 4 version of Marvel for the grand finale of UMvC3 at Evo 2017! #Evo2017

Well with that said, Joey “Mr. Wizard” Cuellar has announced Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom will be played on Playstation 4 this year. This is not a big surprise, since the PS4 port has been well received and confirmed to be used for major tournaments to come.
