NIS America has released the third ‘Ultimate Roll Call’ trailer for the upcoming Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony introduces K1-B0, Gonta Gokuhara, Shuichi Saihara, Tsumugi Shirogane, and Monosuke.
Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony is due out for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita on September 26 in North America and September 29 in Europe, and for PC via Steam worldwide on September 26.
You can check out the trailer and read the details below;
K1-B0 (Ultimate Robot) – K1-B0—or “Keebo” as he is known colloquially—is a robot equipped with recording functions and a hyper-advanced artificial intelligence, allowing him to learn and mature like any other teenage human. Raised by his creator, Professor Idabashi, Keebo was allowed to enroll in high school alongside other humans. He was later recognized as an Ultimate due to his robotic nature. Keebo has a very earnest personality and conducts himself in a proper manner. However, he is very sensitive about the issue of “robophobia”—prejudice toward robots—and will not hesitate to call out any and all instances of anti-robot discrimination. Because he’s a robot, he has a tendency to overlook the subtle nuances of human interaction, and often makes innocent comments that land him in hot water. Kokichi in particular enjoys teasing him over this quirk.
Gonta Gokuhara (Ultimate Entomologist) – As a little boy, Gonta was such an avid bug catcher that he got himself lost in a forest for ten years. During this time, he was raised by a pack of kindhearted wolves, and even learned to speak with animals and insects before being reunited with his human family. To repay his forest family, Gonta strives to become a true gentleman and conducts himself accordingly. However, because he spent his formative years living in the forest, Gonta is somewhat naive and has difficulty conversing with other students his age. Despite being as strong as his appearance would suggest, Gonta is a pacifist who has never killed any living creature, including insects.
Shuichi Saihara (Ultimate Detective) – A young apprentice detective who helped his uncle run a detective business. The bulk of their cases were small jobs that mainly involved investigating cheating couples. However, there was one occasion where Shuichi actually solved a murder before the police did. For this, he was recognized as the Ultimate Detective. But Shuichi believes the case was solved by coincidence and luck, and that he does not deserve the honor of an Ultimate title. Shuichi’s insecurities tend to make him rather timid, but he is quick to act in situations where his keen intuition is needed.
Tsumugi Shirogane (Ultimate Cosplayer) – Tsumugi is a very popular cosplayer who has received sponsorships from many different companies. If you ask Tsumugi, she’ll tell you that she enjoys making her costumes more than wearing them. However, she can’t stand seeing her costumes worn by attention-seeking cosplayers instead of true fans like her, so she often ends up wearing them anyway. Tsumugi has a reserved, studious demeanor and a soft, kind personality. But whenever the subject of cosplay or fandom comes up, she becomes very passionate and outspoken. She has a tendency to completely ignore those around her when she’s especially deep in thought. She also has a habit of referencing anime, video games, and manga over the course of a normal conversation.
Monosuke (Monokumba Kub) – Monosuke is very opinionated and has no patience for Monokid’s foul language. That being said, he is also the most rational member of the Monokubs, and often falls into the straightman role within the group’s antics. Monosuke believes that the Monokubs should be hostile toward each other, and approves of infighting among the group.
Mary Skelter: Nightmares is right around the corner. We will see this game coming out September 19th for the PlayStation Vita. Idea Factory has given us a look at some Nightmares screenshots, plus a character spotlight where we can meet some of the cast members.
JACK
A timid, yet brave young boy who is the hero of the game. He was imprisoned in the Jail with Alice. With his Mary Gun and his special blood, he’s able to control the Blood Maidens which makes him a vital member of the party.
ALICE
Jack’s childhood best friend who is also a prisoner of the Jail. She discovers she’s a Blood Maiden after meeting Red Riding Hood. She’s a straightforward girl with a calm demeanor but she loses her cool when Jack is in danger.
RED RIDING HOOD
A longtime prisoner of the Jail and Blood Maiden who rescues Jack and Alice. She teaches them all about the Blood Maidens and acts as like an older sister to her less experienced teammates.
About Nightmares and Giant Nightmares
Nightmares are the fearsome guardians of the Jail, a different type of enemy tiers above the Marchens. Nightmares patrol the Jail and give relentless real-time chase to Jack and his party. When a Nightmare is nearby, your surroundings darken and only the blood splatter you leave in the dungeon illuminates the way. During this “Murder Hunt” mode, a gauge will appear on the screen that indicates your distance from the Nightmare. Your party cannot defeat the powerful Nightmares right away–until you can face them, you must run!
There are also Giant Nightmares that mercilessly attack Jack’s party in real-time! You can gain the advantage through a series of traps activated by the Blood Maidens’ abilities. The area beneath you will glow red before its attack, so watch out!
This game definitely looks like it will be a lot of fun! Will you pick up this title? Let us know in the comments!
