Square-Enix has released a new trailer announcing Kuja from Final Fantasy IX joining the arcade version of Dissidia Final Fantasy as a playable character in the game’s latest January update.
Square-Enix’s Mobius Final Fantasy is a free-to-play RPG on IOS and Android that was released a few months ago, and is now making its was to PC in Japan. No word has been saidif it will release over seas yet, players can pre-registerfor the PC version at the game’s official website. Square Enix will gift users a number of in-game bonuses based on the amount of pre-registrations it receives (Phoenix Down at 5,000 registrations, Elixir at 10,000, Revival Ticket at 15,000, Summon Ticket at 20,000, and Glow Star at 30,000).
Many people might not know this, but Final Fantasy has a very popular trading card game in Japan named FINAL FANTASY Trading Card Game or”FFTCG”. As of today Square-Enix has announced that Opus 1, the first Final Fantasy Trading Card Game set, will be heading to North America October 28.
The first set, entitled “Opus 1”, will feature 216 cards with iconic designs from highly acclaimed artists including Tetsuya Nomura, Yoshitaka Amano and Akihiko Yoshida, covering nearly 30 years of FINAL FANTASY. New cards themed after FINAL FANTASYVII REMAKE™, DISSIDIA®, and WORLD OF FINAL FANTASY™ will also make their debut in Opus 1.Each card in Opus 1 will also have a premium “foil” version, making this set a must have for all the collectors out there.
Square-Enix released a new trailer for Dissidia Final Fantasy Arcade debuting Ace from Final Fantasy Type-0. Still no word for a console release of the game but you can play as Ace when he is added to the arcades in Japan September 28.
