A game with a simple premise: your world is being attacked, the heroes you consider the best are powerless to do anything, so it is up to you! the underage child with a magical legendary weapon to figure out what’s going on and defeat the bad guys. Easy enough Right?
Out of all the games we have played this year Rise and Shine takes the cake for the simplest idea with the hardest possible way to beat. The game has simple mechanics; Dashes, Double jumps, and shooting ranging from homed bullets to spray and pray. But it’s when the game requires you to do it all at once while solving unique ambient puzzles that lets this sides scroller take you for a ride. Along the way you will find upgrades and additions to your weapon keeping the game from ever feeling repetitive or stagnant.
I could not recommend this game enough, solid gameplay for the modern shoot and think game, it has cutesy and cartoony characters but the gameplay is anything but. If the game gives you enough time try enjoying colorful comic book like backgrounds.
Toei Animation Inc., Funimation Entertainment and Adult Swim have announced their partnership to bring “Dragon Ball Super” to TV audiences starting next January.
You can check out a english dub sneek peek of the series below.
“Dragon Ball Super” is the first new storyline in more than 18 years from original creator Akira Toriyama and the Dragon Ball franchise, which was first introduced to the U.S. more than 20 years ago. Adult Swim will begin airing the U.S. English dub of “Dragon Ball Super” Season 1 during the Toonami block starting on January 7, 2017 at 8 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. ET. Season 1, which totals 26 episodes, encompasses the Battle of Gods and Resurrection ‘F’ story arcs. New episodes of “Dragon Ball Super” will air each Saturday.
Who better to bring back that funky nostalgia than Adult Swim? After a somewhat success Kickstarter campaign (that never made it’s funding stretch goals) and thought to release in 2015, ToeJam & Earl has a release date set for 2017 for PC and consoles. The game will feature both new and classic game play style as well as a co-op play. Since this will be an Adult Swim game, I think we can expect an awesome sound track, and definitely some great game play. What do you think? Let us know in the comments and be sure to check out some game play below.
