Today the Bloodstained Ritual of The Night‘s Kickstarter page was updated and announced they have found a publisher. The page states that 505 Games has joined forces with Iga in a partnership for the Bloodstained project. This will help bring the game to player when the development is finished and ready to go.

You can check out the latest info on the Official Kickstarter page, and watch the new updated video below.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has been Delayed to 2018

Koji Igarashi has added a new update to his kickstarter for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, the spiritual successor to the Castlevania series.

Here is what Iga had to say;

“Things have been progressing with development for Bloodstained, but between our current production set-up and release deadline, I’ve realized that at this rate the game may not end up meeting my quality standards.

“I’ve decided to add a new development team to the main production and improve our approach so that we can keep the game fully on track for how I envision it. We’re in the process of securing these new developers. We will share more information with all of you soon.

“”While the release date is not yet set in stone, we’re aiming for the first half of 2018. I apologize for the wait. However, I’d like to emphasize that I made this decision to absolutely guarantee the game is done right the first time.

“I hope you’ll continue to support us as wonderfully as you have been. The last thing I want to do is keep our backers waiting, but after receiving such incredible support, I feel responsible for delivering the best product I possibly can. Again, I offer my sincerest apologies.”

Although the game has been delayed, Fans are still able to support the developement for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night at this link. Are you happy that Iga made this decision? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.

Amored Core Board Game? Yes, it will be real

Publisher Bad Crow Games has announced an Armored Core board game heading to KickStarter very soon. The board game will be name Amored Core RTS, where players pilot miniature mech models simultaneously through a 3D cityscape. They dodge around corners, boost to the rooftops, and activate weapons at the same time to capture the speed and action of the video games.

The developers incorporated a variety of mechanics but the largest innovation is an LED pointer built into each miniatures’ base to provide instantaneous line of sight.. Physical buildings provide cover from the lights.

About the Game
This officially licensed board game version of Armored Core™ is for 2 to 4 players (expandable to 6), and has been specifically designed to be fast to set up, fast to teach and fast to play.

Between the 20 minute missions, players spend the rewards they earn for accomplishing objectives to upgrade their mechs and equipment. Like the video games players are able to customize their mech according to their play-style and team role. Over the course of the campaign teams will strive to accomplish objectives for their faction in order to become the ultimate ‘Ravens’.

System Shock Reboot

Color me intrigued. Developer Nightdive Studios wants to remake System Shock and they have opened a Kickstarter to get help from the public. They aren’t coming up empty handed though, they have a pre-alpha trailer and  a demo already made.

Check out the Trailer and the Kickstarter page. It has been open for less than a day and they are already up to 200k out of 900k.
