Monster Hunter XX is getting a Sailor Moon collaboration

Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter XX will be getting an in-game collaboration with Sailor Moon in commemoration of the franchise’s 35th anniversary.

The collaboration will have the “Cutie Moon Rod” Felyneweapon and “Narikiri Luna” Felyne shield.

Monster Hunter XX has not been announced for North America asof yet, but will be releasing in Japan March 18.

Ultra Street Fighter II Network Details Emerge

Capcom has released new information about the network features for the upcoming Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers.

Capcom and Ono has also mention, a port of Ultra Street Fighter II can possible be heading to other platforms, depending on sales for the Nintendo Switch version.

Arcade Standby Feature

In Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers‘s “Arcade Mode,” in which you battle CPU characters with the goal of reaching the ending, an “arcade standby” feature has been implemented.

By enabling this setting, other players online will be able to challenge you during Arcade Mode, bringing you back to the excitement and tension of the days other players would cut in for a fight at the arcade.

■ Network Battles

Ultra Street Fighter II supports both local and Internet battles. With local battles, you can use the hardware’s wireless feature to fight against nearby players. With Internet battles, you can participate in “Ranked Matches,” where your “Player Points (PP)” and “Battle Points (BP)” accumulate based on your wins and loses, or “Casual Matches,” where you can fight freely without the effect of points. In Ranked Matches, you can check your ranking based on your points and search for opponents under various conditions. It is the perfect feature to develop your skills.

Types of Ranked Matches

There are four types of Ranked Matches:

  • Quick Match – Searches for players able to fight without setting any conditions.
  • Custom Match – Set conditions and search for a player that you want to fight against.
  • Create Match – Create a lobby where you set the battle rules and such, and wait for the players that you want to fight against to join.
  • Friend Match – Searches for players that you can fight against now from your registered friends list.

Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 will Launch March 7 for Xbox One and PC

Capcom has announced Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 will be releasing for Xbox one and PC March 7. The game is currently available for Playstation 4 digitally right now.

 

On March 7 the digital and limited edition physical copy will be available for $29.99 for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. The physical copy will come with updated cover art and these goodies.

Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers announced for Switch

Capcom has announced Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers for the Switch. The game will include Evil Ryu and Violent Ken who was only available in the Capcom vs SNK Serries.

Capcom is pleased to announce today that Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers will be coming to Nintendo Switch! Street Fighter II, the game that defined the fighting game genre in the 1990’s returns featuring all of the classic characters, a host of brand new features as well as two new fighters; Evil Ryu and Violent Ken.

Featuring a stellar line-up of characters, players will be able to choose to fight in the classic pixel-art graphics for a retro nostalgia trip or enjoy a completely new modern look brought to you on the Nintendo Switch. In addition to the standard versus mode action, you can now choose to team up with a friend to take on a CPU opponent. Players can also use the Joy-Con feature to challenge a second player anytime, anywhere. Pull off flashy super combos and show your enemy who the strongest champion is!
