Today, Patch 3.35 was released. The patch introduced Deep Dungeon: The Palace of the Dead. Parties up to four can battle through an array of enemies, avoid traps, and tackle bosses to gain experience. The maps are randomly generated with dozens of floors. Every participant will start at level 1 and level up through a unique progression system. Strengthen your gear through the journey and unravel the mystery of the Palace of the Dead.
In addition to the patch, a free login campaign is available for registered players that have not been active for 30 or more days before the campaign period. The login period last a maximum of five days (after the initial login) between July 25th-August 30th.

To celebrate 20 years of Laura Croft, Square-Enix announced Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration will launch on PS4 October 11, 2016. This will include the Rise of the Tomb Raider game, a new story called “Blood Ties”, co-op endurance gameplay, PlayStation VR support for “Blood Ties”, all previously released DLC, more outfits, weapons, and Expedition Cards. The Limited Edition game will also include a limited edition art book.
All content of the celebration pack, minus the VR support, is also available for Xbox One and PC players with Season Pass owners automatically receiving the content for free.
“Blood Ties” allows players to explore Croft Manor in a story mode to defend against a zombie invasion in “Lara’s Nightmare”. When ownership of the manor is contested by Lara’s uncle, Lara must explore the manor to prove she is the rightful heir while ridding the manor of zombies.
The co-op expansion to Endurance mode allows players to team up and explore the wilderness together. Prove you and your friends can make it to the top of the leaderboards and see if other players can beat your longest survival run.
If the co-op mode wasn’t challenging enough, the new “Extreme Survivor” mode removes all checkpoints in the game. It’s up to you and whether you can forage enough resources to light a fire in order to save your game.
DLC content will include a three-hour story addition to Baba Yago: The Temple of Witch, defeat waves of infectious predators in Cold Darkness Awakened, 12 DLC outfits, 7 DLC weapons, over 35 Expedition Cards, and more!
