What happens when you add more comedy to Cowboy Bebop? You get space Space Dandy! He’s a Dandy guy, in Space.
The series follows Dandy, his robot QT and later Me#$%* pronounced Merowmreowreow or Meow as the guys call him later. They search the galaxy for undiscovered alien life in order to collect the bounty. The story is at first loosely interconnected by a background story about two empires at war with one of these empires trying to capture Dandy for some reason, and Dandy has no clue this is happening all he cares about is getting reward money, booty and Boobies his favorite breasturant akin to Hooters. It’s actually pretty hard to say which episodes are even cannon within the show, I mean there’s even a zombie episode where everyone turns into zombies in the end, even the narrator!
The show can be a super comedy but it can also get serious and get you right in the feels. Dandy may not be the smartest guy around but he can get serious when it matters. I still can’t get over a certain scene where everything would have turned out awesome if he had just turned around!! waaah!!!
Give it a watch, the entire series is only 26 episodes long and worth the watch. If you’ve seen it let me know your thoughts in the comments!
Get Even, developed by The Farm 51 published by Bandai Namco, is an upcoming horror game set to release in spring of 2017 for PS4 Xbox one and PC.
The premise is that you wake up in an asylum with no memories except that you are trying to save a girl with a bomb strapped to her chest. The game will follow the protagonist as he tries to figure out what happened and uncover what twisted memories might exist.
I hear we might also start questioning reality and the meaning of justice. I for am intrigued and will definitely want to play. How about you? Will you pick this game up come Spring? Let me know in the comments.
If you haven’t watched this anime already, you really owe it to yourself to stop whatever you are doing and go watch it. Seriously, stop reading this and go watch it!
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is seriously my all time favorite Anime, due in part to it being one of the first series that showed me “anime”. I watched Dragonball, Sailor Moon, and Tenchi Muyo before FMA but I didn’t know they were not considered your every day cartoons.
The story follows Ed and Al, brothers who are looking for a way to get their original bodies back. Ed lost an arm and a leg, and Al lost his entire body trying to resurrect their dead mother using alchemy. In their journey, they uncover a plot so sinister that they eventually have to get involved in stopping it. I dare not say too much lest I spoil it. You really should give this Anime a watch!! GO!!
In the future space travel is a common thing; anyone can do it and people have expanded past earth (mainly because it is now uninhabitable). Crime is on the rise and bounty hunters known as “cowboys” go out and capture criminals for money.
The main story follows Spike as he pursues his old friend in a quest for vengeance. In between there are side stories following Spike and his group Jet, Faye, Ed and Ein on the spaceship Bebop.
I enjoyed the series and I feel like I need to re-watch it; I think its been long enough. Cowboy Bebop is definitely one of those shows you can return to.
Give it a watch or tell me what you think of this anime!
Ok, so the full title is KonoSuba: Gods Blessing on this Beautiful World. Such a long title!
Imagine, if you will, dying and then being given a choice: go to heaven or be reborn in another world to try and save it from an evil emperor. Which would you choose? Kazuma, the main character, chooses to be reborn and hilarity ensues. The world he is reborn into is like an RPG and he is only level one, dirt poor, and has average stats. Accompanied by the goddess Aqua and later Megumin and Lalatina, he must level up, earn gold, and eventually defeat evil.
I really enjoyed the first season and I am really hoping it receives more episodes so I can see the story unfold. Think you’ll watch it? Already have; What did you think? Let me know!!
