Live Action Fullmetal Alchemist

Ahhhh! It was bound to happen someday and that day is now-ish! Well more accurately that day is almost here or something.

I do know winter 2017 is what we have. Anyway check out this trailer for live action FMA movie:

Exciting! News has it that there will be an all Japanese cast, however they have made the movie in such a way that no one will say anything that will identify them as Japanese (except probably the language). A lot of filming was done in Italy to capture a European backdrop.

Finally the film is set to tell the entire story in one go, I have questions on this, mainly HOW? we will have to wait and see. Are you guys excited? let me know your thoughts in the comments!

List of cast:

  • Fumiyo Kohinata as General Hakuro
  • Ryuta Sato as Maes Hughes
  • Misako Renbutsu as Riza Hawkeye
  • Natsuna as Maria Ross
  • Natsuki Harada as Gracia Hughes
  • Yo Oizumi as Shou Tucker
  • Jun Kunimura as Doctor Marco
  • Yasuko Matsuyuki as Lust
  • Kanata Hongou as Envy
  • Shinji Uchiyama as Gluttony
  • Kenjiro Ishimaru as Father Cornello
