“Steins;Gate 0” anime adaptation has been announced

Kadokawa has announced a Steins;Gate 0 anime adaptation as part of its “Steins;Gate World Line 2017-2018 project

The company also announced there will be a Steins;Gate 0 manga in Young Ace, as well as a novelization from Sneaker Bunko.

The Steins;Gate 0 anime is currently in production and will first air in japan but has yet to be given a release window.

“Persona 5 The Animation” has been announced

Atlus has announced that a new Persona 5 anime from A-1 Pictures titled, ” Persona 5 The Animation” will be airing in Japan sometime in 2018.main01.png

The voice cast will be done by the cast who voiced from the game:

  • Protagonist (voiced by Jun Fukuyama)
  • Ann Takamaki (voiced by Nana Mizuki)
  • Ryuuji Sakamoto (voiced by Mamoru Miyano)
  • Morgana (voiced by Ikue Otani)
  • Yusuke Kitagawa (voiced by Tomokazu Sugita)
  • Makoto Niijima (voiced by Rina Sato)
  • Futaba Sakura (voiced by Aoi Yuki)
  • Haru Okumura (voiced by Haruka Tomatsu)
  • Goro Akechi (voiced by Soichiro Hoshi)

Yamishibai Returns with Another Season

Yamishibai is back for its 5th season!  Fans will be thrilled to find out that the style has gone back to the story telling roots of the first season.  This seasons theme, so far, seems to focus on ghosts.  The intro hints at a “living dead” theme.  Only two episodes have been released.  Keep an eye out on Crunchyroll for updates.

Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time is coming to PS4 and PC early 2018

During Anime Expo 2017 Bandai Namco announced Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time will be coming to North America early 2018 for Playstation 4 and Steam.

Here is a quick overview:


Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time is a heart-pounding 3D action RPG beat ‘em up featuring an original storyline carved from the popular anime series by Studio Trigger, a Tokyo-based anime production company; now streaming exclusively on Netflix.

Having been inspired by a famous witch named Shiny Chariot, an ordinary girl named Atsuko (Akko) Kagari enrolls at Luna Nova Magical Academy, a prestigious school for young girls training to become witches. Before starting summer vacation, Akko and her new classmates find out about an inexplicable phenomenon at Luna Nova caused by the Seven Wonders, which has been passed down for several centuries. Now it’s up to Akko as she takes on the adventure to unravel the mystery surrounding the Seven Wonders.

Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time features main characters from the anime and original storylines for players to explore as they make their way through Luna Nova Magical Academy.

FLCL 2 and FLCL 3 will be coming to in 2018

During Anime Expo Production I.G unvieled a trailer and some of the main staff for its FLCL 2 and FLCL 3 animation projects.

The two sequels will be two theatrical anime projects, with the first film set to open in Japan in 2018.

The anime is still slated as two six-episode television series in the U.S. While the two six-episode installments were previously slated for late 2017 to early 2018, the staff announced at the panel that they are both slated for 2018 with a break in the middle. The two seasons will have completely separate stories. The staff previously announced that the 12 episodes will be a sequel to the 2000-2001 original video anime.

In the new season of FLCL, many years have passed since Naota and Haruhara Haruko shared their adventure together. Meanwhile, the war between the two entities known as Medical Mechanica and Fraternity rages across the galaxy. Enter Hidomi, a young teenaged girl who believes there is nothing amazing to expect from her average life, until one day when a new teacher named Haruko arrives at her school. Soon enough, Medical Mechanica is attacking her town and Hidomi discovers a secret within her that could save everyone, a secret that only Haruko can unlock.But why did Haruko return to Earth? What happened to her Rickenbacker 4001 she left with Naota? And where did the human-type robot ‘Canti’ go?

The newly announced staff includes:
