Lost Odyssey is Free for Xbox One for a Limited Time

In celebration of the Xbox One Backward Compatibility catalog exceeding 300 games, Microsoft announced Lost Odyssey to be a free download.

Originally released on Xbox 360, this RPG from Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi and Mistwalker is a n awesome title to add to your library, but you can only get it free until December 31st.

What!? SoulCalibur is coming back?…….Wait, WTF!!!!

Bandai Namco has announced a new edition to the SoulCalibur series……sort of.

Teasing an announcement last week with the SoulCalibur’s 20th anniversary trailer, Bandai Namco had player’s ready for a new game, but then they threw this down today.
Yes, you just saw your dreams crushed with that video. Bandai Namco has done this already a few times with some of their franchises, so it’s not new news, but it seems like after Konami’s take on the Pachinko scene, other companies might want in as well.

Lets just hope there is another announcement following this.

Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star is coming to North America January 17

XSEED Games has announced Fate/Extella:The Umbral Star will launch for PlayStation 4 and PS vita in North America on January 17

In addition to the standard release, a “Noble Phantasm Edition” will contain a 7.5” by 6.3” hardcover art book featuring over 100 pages of high-quality artwork and backstory from Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star, a pack of sixteen collectible 3” by 5” cards depicting each of the game’s Servants, and a 24” by 17” cloth poster, all housed in a custom collectible box.

The digital PlaySTation 4 version is also now available for pre-order via the PlayStation Store. Pre-orders will unlock an exclusive PlayStation 4 theme, as well as the exclusive “Shackled Bride Outfit” downloadable content for Nero when the game launches.

The digital PS Vita version will not have a pre-order campaign, but for the first two weeks upon launch, the PlayStation Store will feature a special bundle including a PS Vita theme and the exclusive “Cold-Blooded Warden” downloadable content outfit for Gilgamesh.
