A few months ago a teaser trailer was released about the upcoming sequel to Nidhogg, and we only got a glimpse of the game. The game was announced for PC, and now is confirmed for Playstation 4. So now PS4 players can fill their opponent with arrows, chuck a knife into its groin, smash its face into juicy goop, or even kick it old-school with their trusty sword.
Here’s a bit of what you can expect in Nidhogg 2:
– Completely overhauled animations with monstrous art from Toby Dixon.
– 10+ levels of fencing goodness, including multiplayer (local/online) and tournament mode.
– Challenge the AI in single-player, including special challenge rounds.
– New soundtrack with music by Mux Mool, Dose One, Daedelus, and more.
If you’re heading to Day of the Devs this Saturday (Nov. 5th) in San Francisco, you can go by booth #30 to get a hands-on with an all-new level in Nidhogg 2, or see the game on the main stage from 6-6:30pm.
