There is still hope for a single player mode to be added to Friday the 13th.Even though Gun Media fell 1 million dollars short of their goal on Kickstarter, co-creator Wes Keltner plans to put every dime they get from the game (pre-orders, etc.) back into the game.

Keltner explained that they chose the multiplayer game option because not only was it cheaper, but multiplayer would prevent the game from being linear by adding a human element.   However, if a single player mode is ever added it will entail the player stepping into the role of either Jason Voorhees or counselor with a Hitman approach;  if you play the game long enough, you can figure out the actions of the characters and what to do.
