Purple Guy in Five Nights at Freddy’s 3

Purple Guy in Five Nights at Freddy’s 3
A theory by Dark-Laharl

With the release of Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 fans have created their own theories to explain what happened in the games. I have always been very interested in game lore and love to come up with conclusions about what I think happened.
Today, I bring you my theory: The Purple Guy died recently; not 30 years in the past, but during the events of FNAF3.

 Exhibit 1

When you look at Springtrap’s character design, the wear and tear of his costume seems unlikely for such a long period of time.

The problem I have with believing that he died 30+ years ago is that there wouldn’t be any “skin” left and (more than likely) all that would remain is a skeleton.
Let’s take into consideration the location of the animatronic body.  The FNAF3 mini games take place on a rainy day and we see a lot of leaks inside the building. The location looks very run down –as if it has been shut down for more than just a few days. It seems more likely that it has been years since Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza closed down for good. In the mini game, we also see a lot of rats. Over time I think rats would have torn into Springtrap and eaten the corpse.  This could also explain why Springtrap is full of holes.

  Exhibit 2

Sometime after Freddy’s closed for good in FNAF1, I believe Purple Guy wanted to destroy all evidence of what happened at Freddy’s because he discovered that Freddy Fazbear’s Fright would be opening in the future. He went to the now run down building and encountered the animatronics. They still wanted to kill him but he hid in the safe room because it was the only place the animatronics could not follow him.
From the safe room, he either used a suit to fool Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy before destroying them or he found a way to shut them down before dismantling them completely. It is likely that after such a long time the animatronics were run down and therefore much easier to destroy. Although, being worn down seems unlikely since Springtrap is still able to move after such a long time. I believe it’s more likely that since Purple Guy worked at Freddy’s in the past he was able to bypass the animatronics’ detection and dismantle them completely. This would prove to be his undoing because dismantling Freddy and the gang released the four children haunting them, allowing the spirits to corner Purple Guy in the safe room and finally into Springtrap.

Evidence from the animatronics physical appearance and the location leads me to believe that Purple Guy died during the events at Five Nights at Freddy’s 3.

Let me know what you guys think about my little theory. Do you think it might be heading in the right direction?

Looks like Final Fantasy Type-Next/1 has been in the works

If you were lucky enough to unlock the secret trailer at the end of Final Fantasy Type-0 you’d see why fans believe there would be a sequel to Type-0. The rumor was confirmed when director Hajime Tabata revealed concept art at a game launch event in Hong Kong.  But don’t get your hopes up. Although Type-1 is in its beginning stages, development has been halted while Tabata works on another Final Fantasy project: Final Fantasy XV.

Remember when we said that South Park: The Stick of Truth is priced for $4.99 two days ago?

A few days ago “South Park: The Stick of Truth” was priced for $4.99 on the US PlayStation Store, a price almost too good to be true. If you were lucky enough to hear about this (We did post this news on our Facebook page) you probably snagged it for that price. Honestly,  $5 is a bargain considering the game goes for $20 in retail stores, the game has a 85 metacritic score, and a lot of companies gave it great reviews.

      It turns our, a few hours later after the word spread about the pricing,  PlayStation tweeted this statement;
Update: Due to an error, South Park: The Stick of Truth was listed on the US PS Store at an incorrect price. We apologize for the error.

So it was a pricing error! Well like we said on our Facebook page “..might be too good to be true..” Now the price is back up to $29.99.

Were you one of the lucky people who bought it for the dirt cheap price, or were you just a little too late?
